Tai Chi & Qigong with Sifu Viola Brumbaugh starts Feb. 5th

The Center for Movement & Healing is very happy to welcome Sifu Viola Brumbaugh to our studio and schedule.

It has been a few years now since I met Viola through our Nia Assistant, Fran. Fran spoke so highly of Viola I had Viola come and teach a Tai Chi class to my Nia students, especially since Tai Chi is one of the 9 Movement forms of Nia (being one of three martial arts we use as an energy personality/flavor). I instantly felt a connection to Viola as a caring, centered and warm person and teacher.  I’m  happy we now have a place where to each teach under one roof to bring movement & healing to the community. Here are the details:

Tai Chi & Qigong with Sifu Viola: This 60 minute class focuses on the traditional Yang Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) 108 form as its foundation, along with silk reeling, Longevity Joint Lubrication Qigong (Chi Kung), applications and push hands.  Students of all levels welcome.

Class fees:

$60 beginner’s package for first 4 classes

$115/month, $280 per quarter for 2 classes per week

$80/month, $200 per quarter for 1 class per week

25% discount for Seniors 70+ years, Combat Veterans, and additional family members

Forms of payment accepted: PayPal, Credit Card, Check, or Cash

About Viola: Sifu Viola Brumbaugh is a 12th generation inheritor of Chen Taijiquan under the direct discipleship of Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei, one of the top Tai Chi masters in the world.  She is also an indoor disciple of Yang Tai Chi and Wing Chun Master David Leung.  Having studied for over 20 years in both the US and China, Sifu Brumbaugh’s classes are engaging, fun, challenging, and rejuvenating at the same time. Bringing a combination of tradition and creativity, knowledge and humility, hard work and sense of humor to each class, Sifu Brumbaugh coaches students to achieve their best.
